With this unit, dry air and sulphur is sprayed through a special nozzle and combined at a stoichiometric ratio in order to produce SO2.

This ratio is controlled by instruments (micro motion or equivalent) which ensure that the concentration quantity, temperature and flow to the next unit are kept constant.
